This is a song written for my grandpa, I lived with him and my Mimi for 2 years of my childhood where he was known to me simply as "Papa."

We had some great times together. We would stay home watching TV, eating cereal and listening to "The Statler Brothers" while my parents and Mimi were out working.

He passed away from Sarcoidosis just a couple months shy of my 4th birthday and I was never able to give the proper goodbye.
